The Mission Neighborhood Health Center (MNHC) is a non-profit, multi-site community health organization offering comprehensive health services in the Mission and Excelsior Districts of San Francisco. The center offers primary health care services, adult medicine, pediatrics, family planning, OB/GYN, HIV and homeless services. We are currently looking for qualified candidates for our Health Enrollment Navigator role. Please note: this role requires an applicant to be bilingual (English/Spanish). This position reports to the Patient Services Manager and is a Regular, Full Time, Non-Exempt role with a starting hourly range of $26.18 to $28.13 with full benefits.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Navigators Program provides a variety of outreach and navigation services to various vulnerable populations who are potentially eligible for enrolling or re-enrolling in Medi-Cal (California’s state-run and funded Medicaid program), which provides health coverage to families with very low income, as well as expectant mothers, persons with a range of disabilities, and immigrants and families with mixed immigration status, et al.
